Laurence Anthony awarded corpus linguistics prize!

We are pleased to report that one of our faculty members has been awarded a prize for his research and development work. Prof. Laurence Anthony has received the annual prize of the Japan Association for English Corpus Studies (JAECS: 英語コーパス学会). He is being recognized for developing and providing the text analysis tool, AntConc, for developing and providing other tools for corpus analysis, as well as for his scholarly contributions to corpus linguistics. These contributions have proven valuable to the members of the JAECS society and to teachers and researchers worldwide. We congratulate Prof. Anthony on this accomplishment and are very proud to have him at Waseda University as a member of the Center for English Language Education (CELESE) team!
